Wahl Professional Animal Competition Series Detachable Blade - 1/32-Inch Cut Length, 30# Fine (2355-100)

Cuts like butter. I wonder if those who found it dull did not have the dog’s coat properly prepared.

This blade is super sharp and is the first on Size 30. Really reluctant to use it since I am a home groomer but have several mats I need to get and a 10 just would not do it.

The Wahl replacement blade I ordered doesn't cut on the dog. It goes over the top, pulls but does not cut. I compared them and they are coded the same (Competition Series 30 0.8mm by Wahl USA) but the new blade is somehow defective. It's also a bit larger than the original blade. I'd like a refund or a replacement. Very disappointed in Wahl, a brand I trusted for quality, for this defective product.

I have doodles, and I’m trying to learn to groom them myself. Not because I think it sounds fun but because paying to groom your dogs every two months is expensive! Before buying this blade, I was attempting to use combs on top of a 10 blade. This one works much better- and doesn’t struggle as much to slice through that coarse curly hair. Am I a pro yet? No…but it’s a good start :).

Used on one dog, went to the next and dulled halfway through.

Can’t go wrong with Wahl. Please use as professional only.

Wahl blades seem to deliver better performance than other blades and this one was no exception.

I got this because it was recommended to use with the guards. Used 2 times. The 2nd time the blade would not cut my dogs hair. I had to switch to a different blade.
