Peppercorn pink
This stuff is so great. I cannot see me going back to regular pepper after having the pink pepper, the white pepper, the green pepper and the black pepper all mixed in one they are the most beautiful blend of peppers I’ve ever seen and they taste so much better. These peppers are well worth the price that they’re asking.

Better than I expected.
I was expecting the usual - overdried fruit with just tones of the flavor, but this product exceeded my expectations. It's really good, it's not overdried - just the right "chewiness", mild flavor and the natural sweetness exactly what's to be expected from the Brazilian variant. Super happy with it. The only critical comment from me would be - for the price, the berries could be more uniform. As seen from the attached photos, among the bulk of the majority of good berries, there are some old and some underripe. Not a biggie, considering that the most is in a good shape.P.S.I'm a bit surprised at some negative reviews saying "doesn't taste like pepper". My best guess that such comments come from the lack of understanding.Pink "peppercorn" is not related to usual black peppercorn and belongs to a completely different family of plants that's closely related to cashews. That's where it's sweetness, fruitiness and nut flavor are coming from. It's not an "upscale substitute" for black pepper, it's a different spice and has its own applications. It's a delicate spice, on a sweet side, it's mild and it would do nothing to say a fatty ribeye charred on the outside. It's a good addition to mushroom dishes with mild flavor, such as, morels, yellow and black chantarelles. It's good with mild fish - salmon, Chilean seabass - anything that's not overpowering. It's AWESOME when slightly toasted to grind and added with salt and cane sugar to make gravlax. It's good with pate and anything creamy, it pairs well with citrus, strawberries, pomegranate and enhances those flavors adding a slight "bite" to it and it's good with deserts - any desert with fruit and cream, toast these berries just a tad, grind them and sprinkle over - that would be like putting every sour and sweet taste under a magnifying glass. And my personal discovery (which I by no means claim primacy, I'm sure it's been long discovered before me) - good combination with dark and milk chocolate. In fact, the "bastard chocolate" produced by Hershey tastes not that bad when combined with a few of these berries.

added flavor
Used this item for our shrimp dished, added flavor is over the top, plus they are not hard like pepper corns

It’s PINK!
PINK! It’s my new obsession, yeah PINK is not even a question PINK on the lips of your lover cuz PINK is the love you’ll discover!Sorry, Aerosmith fan here.It actually adds a new dynamic to food, it’s not as hot as black pepper and has a very small fruity finish right at the end if you can catch it.

Amazing!
I am a proud spice snob and after researching price points and various reviews, I am so glad I bought these. The peppercorns from this co.pany did t have reviews but I decided to take a shot since thier other spices had good reviews. They come in a plastic container of 2. The packaging was perfectly sealed and then pepper corns were intact. Some things to keep in mind before you buy:1. These are naturally wet/waxy so please don't use your pepper grinder or else it will clog2. Don't use your mortar and pestle either as the wax/liquid may stick depending on the type you haveI ended up throwing a bunch in my spice grinder (cheap coffee grinder that I use to grind spices) and it worked out amazinglyThe power sruck together since I didn't dehydrate them but I don't care since I grind small amounts at a time. I wiped down my grinder with vodka to get rid of residual oil and smells and worked like a charm.Anyway I never leave reviews but these were just too good not to leave a review. 💖

A Must Have for Dishes from the 1980-1990s!
Remember when pink peppercorns were all the rage in restaurants in NY and CA? Well bought these to do some throwback dinners.Additionally they are an interesting addition to plain rice, pasta dishes and even salads. The flavor is very light, so the addition is more for look than flavor.

Not sealed correctly AND a bit of a rip off by weight. I threw it out.
The package was NOT sealed AND incidentally, it is a rip off by weight. Just an all around HORRIBLE experience. Amazon did take care of the problem but I would never order this product in this form from this manufacturer if I were you. The total net weight appears to be around 4 1/2 ounces which is absurd and then to end up with what appears to be an improperly sealed package? Not worth the time or cost in my opinion.
