Works well (excellent)
Burns well, lasts a long time. Comparatively speaking, with other fire starters it appears it will start your campfire easily enough: unless you are totally incompetent at starting fires. For me, it was as easy as anything and easier than just lighting a match to some kindling. I actually thought it was cheating a bit, but IT WORKS! I will buy this again.I have to update my comments; I burned one of these, with no other tinder, on a concrete patio and the result was excellent for an experienced person and would be very good for a novice. An expert would have other small branches readily available with larger logs standing by. A novice probably would not, but these are very forgiving as far as getting burning material and mine lasted, with some wind, for 10 minutes before the flame went out. I imagine the heat would last for a couple of more minutes, but for me, it wouldn't be necessary. As an experienced camper and outdoors person, I could easily see how these could be seen as "cheaters" because of how easy they are.

Have skills but sometimes you need a fire QUICKLY; and this is wonderful for those times.
Yeah, develop and use your skills with your ferro rod, plow, mag. glass, piston, bow drill, sugar and PP; BUT when you arrive to family camp at sunset and its crazy cold or the mosquitoes are going crazy your family needs a fire FAST, not to be impressed with your alternative fire starting skills!!! These help get a fire quickly! (lint, dry tinder, and some SEALED-non buggy, seasoned split sticks are the second component to this operation.

Very useful
I live in the country and burn my trash - These have saved me a lot of time because I can just light it, wait a few seconds for it to catch fully, and then drop it in the burn barrel. -- That waiting a few seconds to catch fully is a really important step. If you just drop it immediately after striking it, then it'll go out so be patient. It's still faster than using a lighter.

She’s a firestarter
My wife is a professional fire dancer and has been lighting and working with fire for 15+ years. I bought these to try out for a camping trip at elevation (harder to light fires further up). Her: “honey where did you get these fire starters from?”Me: “read a review that the people that made them (UCO) were good why? Are they not working?”Her: “No, they are. They are awesome. Flawless use starting the fires. Maybe best fire starter I’ve used outside of fuel.”So if she says it I believe it.

Work as advertised.
This product does indeed work as advertised. They light easy, some smoke, almost no order, and burns with a 6"flame a long time. I didn't time the burn but the box says 7 minutes. Could be. I will be purchasing these again when I use up the ones I now have.

Really like the burn time on these.
UCO is a great company with great products. Going to be great to use while camping. I have bought many products from them in the past and have never been disappointed.

Multipurpose fire starters
Purchased for BOB, but have also become favorite method of starting charcoal when grilling. One square burns long/hot enough to get the charcoal started in the chimney without fluid/paper or fuss.Lights with flint, or flame. Purchased from Corporal's Corner influencer page!

My matches didn't work.
This seem to be just in my experience, but my matches burned for less than about 5 seconds. Idk if I just got a bad batch or what, but I was definitely disappointed.
