Fits 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Great!
I just installed this in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a JVC Bluetooth In-Dash Digital Media Receiver with Dual USB Ports. The JVC stereo fit the Metra 99-6504 perfectly, and the entire installation was completed in less than 2-hours, start to finish. This dash kit perfectly matches the stock Cherokee trim, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.A NOTE TO THOSE SAYING THIS KIT DID NOT FIT THEIR AFTERMARKET STEREO:When I first opened this dash kit I was shocked to discover that my JVC head unit would not slide into the DIN opening - it wasn't even close. Then, after researching a little more, I realized this is an ISO only mount. BE AWARE that this kit will NOT allow for the "slide in" mounting style with your stereo's mounting sleeve. An ISO only mount means you must install the stereo from the REAR of the dash kit (before mounting it into the dash), with the side mounting brackets and screws (I had to buy the screws separately at Home Depot). You should NOT have to dremel or reshape your kit! Also, keep in mind that these types of dash kits typically require the REMOVAL of the trim bezel on your aftermarket stereo. The trim bezel is often times pre-installed by the manufacturer, which adds to the confusion. If you do not remove the stereo's trim bezel - it will not fit in an ISO mount. On my JVC X50BT, there was a thin trim ring on the face of the head unit that just popped right off. Once I figured out the bezel issue, and the side brackets, the install was a breeze. One more thing, you'll need a few M5x8mm screws (not included) to mount the JVC stereo in an ISO manner.Check my uploaded photos to see what a proper install looks like with an ISO only mount. I hope this helps solve the problems/confusion some others were having regarding the fit of this kit.

Excellent Face Plate Adapter for a Chrysler Application
This faceplate adapter features a unique storage slot below the radio although it is fairly small to be of much use. It will hold a naked smart phone or one with a thin cover, or maybe a CD jewel box but not much more. Just make sure you do not slide anything small towards the back as it will be quite difficult to retrieve. To use this adapter, you have to remove included trim plate and metal bracket that comes with the aftermarket radio. The radio (with these parts removed) can be mounted to this adapter with the provided screws. I added a rigid foam pad at the bottom prior to mounting so as the weight of the radio is resting on the foam pad and not just on the screws and the adapter. I thought the adapter was not rigid enough to hold the weight of the radio over time, particularly in a vehicle environment. Also, please be careful when using a radio with a flip down face. Since the front face of the radio sits almost flush to the front face of the adapter, you may not have enough clearance for the face to open forward.Overall, the adapter looks great, the grain on the plastic face matches the interior of the vehicle quite well.

Perfect!
This dash kit fit the rather large factory "hole" in my 2001 Chrysler Voyager minivan perfectly -- even the mounting holes matched the pre-existing screw holes in the dash panel. And my new Pioneer DEH-2200UB mated into the dash kit very nicely and securely. As a bonus, the color of the plastic matches the black dash plastic. So all-in-all, this gave me the "professional" looking installation I was desiring for less than 20 bucks. And it was easy for me, and should be pretty easy for anybody else who's reasonably handy with tools and has the confidence to remove a dash panel.Cautionary note: I never remove the removable faceplate on the unit (I just tighten it down with the provided screw), but I can see where the removable faceplate might be difficult to remove and replace with this adapter, at least with my particular unit. But not my issue.I don't often bother to review my Amazon purchases, but this worked out so well for me I wanted to be sure and cast my big-thumbs-up vote.
