Most Impressive Screw I've ever used
At first glance this is the best engineered and manufactured screw I've ever bought. I used these to tie 2x8s into the perimeter of my patio roof and homes exterior walls as the frame work to screen in my patio. These worked beautifully, I did drill 1/8" pilot holes since I was sinking these near the edges of the boards and wanted to be 100% sure I didn't split the wood. When these screws grabbed a stud in the wall they pulled the 2x8 really tight (like a clamping force) from the little cutting threads on the screw. I will definitely be using this again for all my future projects that require a lag screw.

Great screws
Great screws, I'm not a professional, but these things really tighten down. Using them on treated wood to make a deck on my house.

Order was short 15 screws
Screws worked awesome. Only problem was there were only 85 screws, 15 short. Can I please get 15 screws sent to me?

Torx bit that comes with it is cheaply made

Get a grip!
How refreshing to have a screw that you tighten properly using a torx bit.Head of GRK screw is a nice halfway point in size between a more bulky bolt head and a more miniscule Phillips head which may require a washer.

This screw is a beautiful piece of engineering. It is ideal for wood-to-wood connections or even steel-to-wood connections in all kinds of interior/exterior applications. When I can afford these, there is no better lag.

Missing the drill bit
Box was missing the drill bit! Very disappointing and inconvenient as I now have to make an extra trip to the hardware store, when I was counting on starting into the job as soon as the screws arrived.
