On the very first swing the handle started to slide off. It is not secured in any way. It is just slid over the end of the planter. I put electrical tape on one end, trimed the hanger off and electrical taped that. Now I have no slippage.

I have had one of these for years and use it every time I am in the yard. I've been looking to purchase one for a gift and a back up for myself. I was thrilled to finally find this incredible tool again.

We have soil that is very hard to dig in. And, my husband and I are elderly and don't have the strength we once had. I have been looking for a tool to dig small holes for bulbs and small plants and this one works great. The slender end works to break up the hard soil and the wider end is great for making a larger hole and scooping out the soil. And, I like the fact that the handle is metal and welded onto the head. I expect this thing to out live me.

Very sturdy, & one of the handiest tools for my yard work. The small spade end allows for chopping weeds around trees & in tight areas, while the pick end will go deep enough to reach the roots.

Absolutely my FAVORITE gardening tool! I use both sides for different kind of digging. Have given this to several other gardeners and they LOVE it, too!!! Built good and sturdy, too.

I have ordered 2 of these. The pick side bent where it comes out of the head on both. Used in the middle of a well maintained yard, weeding dandelions out of the lawn while the soil was soft after having rained all spring. The first time it happened I thought it might be a defect, so the unit was returned. After receiving and using the second one, and the exact same thing happened, I question the quality of the materials used.My neighbor has the same tool, bought 20+ years ago at a hardware store. Works perfectly, I have weeded my yard with it and found it an amazing tool, and the reason I purchased this one. Unfortunately something seems to have changed in the manufacturing in that time.As a tool its a great lawn care item, the small head allows you to get the weed with minimal damage to the lawn. I will not be ordering a 3rd unit and advise anyone else looking at this item to look at other options.
