Pretty good painter’s tape.

Not sure if it is user error or this batch, but the paint project used with this batch of tape, had a lot of paint bleeding under the tape. Previously, Scotch painter's tape worked great.

Used this for a very large interior painting project. Same good product you can purchase from home improvement stores but the price is the selling point since it comes out way cheaper than I could find it elsewhere.

What can I say about Scotch Original Blue painters tape that hasn't already been said? This is essentially the standard that all masking tape is judged against, so it pretty much sells itself. I've been using this tape for two decades, including my brief stint in construction/painting back in my mid 20s. I use the green stuff too if I need a really crisp line, or the Japanese hobby grade stuff for, ehh, hobbies/airbrush work, but this is the stuff I reach for 95% of the time for paint, and 100% of the time for general use where masking tape is appropriate.I also use this exclusively for automotive detailing for sealing gaps and masking trim. Nothing else can take the abuse of a D/A buffer without shredding or pulling away.Why buy this stuff instead of the slightly cheaper regular stuff?-Does not leave a residue, even after sticking to something for years.-Rips easily and predictably.-Strong for a masking tape.-Sticks well with minimal bleed... preventing bleed is really more technique than tape, but this stuff is forgiving if you are not well practiced yet.-Does not go bad, shrink, or get hard/brittle with age.-Glue doesn't turn to dust after 2 weeks like some masking tape.-Works well with markers, pen, pencil. No writing tip fouling, and moderately smudge resistant.No cons to speak of. If this tape doesn't cut it, then it's probably not right for the job and you need a more specialized tape.This is a great deal at $40. You will save around $15 over buying 8 rolls at the local Depot that sells Home hardware stuff. Highly recommended. Friends don't let friends buy cheap masking tape.
