Knorr, Pasta Sides, 4.4oz Pouch (Pack of 6) (Choose Flavors Below) (Alfredo)

My mother wasn't really a good cook, except she had one pasta alfredo dish that I absolutely LOVED as a kid. I grew up and didn't really get into cooking until my 30's, unfortunately after my mother had died of cancer, so I never got the chance to ask her for the recipe. As an adult I tried every sauce and recipe over the years trying to replicate that taste, with no luck, then when I was 51 with my children grown and gone, I happened to purchase a packet of this hiding on a grocery store shelf, because I recognized the logo and package design from my childhood. Turns out THIS WAS IT! This was what my mother had made for us all those years! I was so happy I ordered like 10 of these 6 packs from here and had it almost daily for lunch for a little while (and gained a little weight... all things in moderation). It certainly brought back memories. But also a super-easy meal, boil for seven minutes and throw in meat and vegetable pieces for a quick, fulfilling dinner.

Great casserole base for quick meals. Add meat and vegetable. Pantry staple. Just hate paying higher pieces thx to covid but it is what it is

I used to buy these all the time at the store but now you can't find them so I oreder these now I know why I could get them they expired in January 2022 and they don't take returns

Buyer beware. This is for the new parm noodles you can get at any store in usa for a buck. I wanted the SPINICH blend as the picture /description showed. On top this the bag ripped. Powder everywhere.

I prepared just as directed and the sauce was very thin and watery, didn't thicken even when left standing for a while. The noodles are also not as shown on the package. The package shows long strands of plain colored pasta with specks of green (I assume spinach bits), but in reality the pasta is shorter and a mix of plain and dark green noodles. The taste was passable, not too much parmesan flavor. I will continue to buy either the butter noodles or stroganoff, which are way more yum!
