Nestle Mct Oil, for Digestive Problems, 1 EA

It is a great product. I use it for my preterm infant who has acid reflux and a chronic lung disease called BPD. He has problems gaining weight. I add the MCT oil to his purée baby food. Consequently, we are proud that our baby is tolerating the MCT Oil. Last month he gained 2 lbs. We have been using this MCT Oil for 6 months.

The item was just thrown in an oversized box when it was delivered. You could feel it moving around. It should be packed better than that as it’s in a glass jar!

My 9 month old was diagnosed "failure to thrive" because she was very small for her age due to not drinking enough formula. They figured the root cause as reflux and prescribed medication for the reflux and mct oil to help increase her calorie intake (1 ml per 2 oz formula). She is tolerating the addition of mct oil to her formula and has increased her daily intake from 12 oz per day to 28 oz!!!

This was prescribed for my daughter who has SBS. It’s supposed to be easily absorbed and beneficial to growth. However it gives her a tummy ache with just a 1 ml dose (she’s 3 months). I tried it myself 3 days in a row and it also made my stomach hurt. Seems odd.
