I've had numerous pairs of Crocs, both fur-lined and unlined. When I've had foot surgery in the past, I had the fur-lined ones that the liner can be removed. Removing the lining in one and wearing the Croc with lining on my good foot worked rather than wearing the idiot square-toed monstrosity they send you home with after surgery. Anyone that's post-op after an injury or surgery to your feet or ankles can confirm the dramatic improvement in your peripheral vision: anything that comes near your sore foot or ankle is detected with lightening speed! This last go around with an arthrotomy to my ankle required me to strip the lining out of my old fur-lined Croc (the one with the lining glued in) and trimming the top of the shoe to accomodate the Ace wrap and bandage. After a few days and reduced swelling post-op, I've been able to wear this pair of fur-lined Crocs in sub-zero temperatures! When other people have complained about cold feet, my feet have been toasty warm!After four days during a polar vortex I can confirm that these Crocs and their lining are amazing! It snowed a couple of times and they provide much more skid resistance than regular classic unlined Crocs. I can't speak to if they skid when wet, but in snow they are wonderful! I'm sure that podiatrists aren't thrilled with the support Crocs provide, but with limited use they are great!Regarding sizing, I usually wear Brooks Ghost size 9 women's and in these lined Crocs size 8 fit perfectly. Hope this helps someone considering buying these.

These are my second pair. I have worn out the lining in the first pair.What I would like to see is CROCS make these with removable inserts so they can be washed.
