Pay careful attention to the product description
This stove fits a CV270 'Plus' canister not a CV270 canister. That said, I love this stove. The only reason I'm reviewing this perfectly good product, is to bring attention to the type of gas canister. Note that I gave this five stars, and I would buy it again if one I needed another.

Great, Compact Stove
I have had one of these stoves since 2002. It is a great compact little stove that will bring a 1/2 liter to boiling in about 5 minutes. The stove itself is rugged as heck, it stood up to bouncing around in my Bradley bustle rack for a year in Iraq and always worked. Nothing was better for heating water for coffee after a long night spent sitting on a screen line or a late night raid. Great stove!
