Galco STO-N-GO

I bought this holster over two years ago because anything kydex was uncomfortable when sitting. The leather has many advantages--no hard edges and the holster itself is only large enough to encase the gun. The leather has now formed around the XDS giving it a custom fit, so the longer you wear it the better it gets. The grip rides just high enough to leave space to get your fingers around it, put not so high as to lean out and give a profile problem. The clip itself has reinforced leather holding it to the holster. I've had absolutely no stitching come loose or had any problems with loosening of the clip itself. I liked this one so much, I bought another one for my SIG 365, which I just bought. Highly recommend this holster for anyone that wants a minimal holster that is comfortable as well.

Just received this holster, so this is a first-impression review. My pistol is s Sig P938. When I first inserted the gun, it took a little wiggling to get it all the way in, which is to be expected. I plan to leave it in the holster for a week or so to get it to mold to the gun's shape. Quality is good, the gun fits deep into it. I considered a Blackhawk nylon holster, but just couldn't figure out their size chart, so I picked the Galco because it said it fit my exact gun. I've never used an IWB holster before, so I don't know that is going to work with my pudgy waistline. I think I'd rather have an OWB holster, but can't think how I'd carry concealed with one. So I'll try thr IWB and see how it goes.

This is my first holster, so this is not coming from a point of comparison. This holster holds my xd-s very securely and I can jog around without the gun moving. I've been carrying it at about an 11 o'clock position and can draw quickly and smoothly. Some jeans are more comfortable than others. I carried with a tighter pair of lower wasted jeans and ended up with a bruise on my leg and stomach from sitting with the holster. Other jeans were okay while sitting. Standing up and walking is never a problem.The holster is very well made, sturdy but thin, and is light weight. Others had mentioned that it was hard to re-holster, but I did not find this to be the case. It's inside your pants so if you're going to be pulling your gun in and out repeatedly (like at the range) this would not be the one to use. However, for drawing practice I had no problem re-holstering without undoing my belt or anything.Here is my one complaint: the cut near the trigger (as you can see in the picture) leaves a little bit of the trigger guard visible. If the gun managed to slip up about 1/2in some piece of clothing could feasibly get inside your trigger at the same time as your stomach is pushing down on the grip safety.I've decided to carry without a bullet in the chamber. For the (hopefully less than) once in a lifetime chance that I need to draw my gun I'll take the extra 1/2 second to rack the slide rather than keep a loaded pistol pointed at my femoral artery all day.

I've tried several different brands and styles over the years, but keep coming back to the stow-n-go. I like the reinforced lip that makes it easy to re-holster, the leather is good quality and comfortable. It's become my go-to holster, as I've bought one for every gun in my carry rotation.

I selected this for use with a Sig P938. The holster didn't fit very well and was uncomfortable to wear. Overall the quality of the product was good though. Glaxo makes good products, it's just that this didn't fit this pistol very well.

They don’t hold up! There made of some cheap suede leather and start coming apart after a weeks worth of wear. I bought (2) one in black and one in brown. The sizing is generic and you should order a size larger than you think from their sizing statement. I used the black holster and it started falling apart in a couple of days, so I sent the brown one back. JUNKIE!! Go somewhere else and buy a Safari land/Bianchi firm cowhide T100 leather holster.

Excellent quality and design, very snug to the inside of the pants. Definitely allow 2 days of continuous draw to break in. This is the best inside holster I've used or purchased. True fit for Springfield Xds 3.3, regardless of caliber.

Shame on you Galco! You didnt make a new holster in time for the glock 43 release so you just slapped a glock sticker on a holster for an xd-s. Even the text on the front of the package is a different size/font where it says glock 43.A close fit would be one thing, but when i jam the gun as hard as i can into the leather to the point that I'm straining and then can still slip my finger into the trigger guard! thats just garbage. Not to mention unsafe.I read the other reviews complaining about the fit, but I just didn't think it could be true. Galco products have always been top top notch, and I have a bunch that I love. One that I have carried almost daily for 5 years.DO NOT BUY FOR GLOCK 43
