Recently, I had the task of a finding a replacement hinge for a kitchen cabinet door. Several trips to Lowe's and Home Depot left me empty. I then was able to locate the same brand of the hinge "Salice" through Amazon and purchased two that were similar in design. I received the hinges promptly via mail. The hinges were not an exact fit and therefore I had to make some modifications to the cabinet but after installation they work well. I will purchase more to have on hand.

I needed to replace a broken kitchen cabinet door hinge that had been installed 15 years ago, during a renovation of our kitchen. Fortunately, the Salice website gave me the information I needed to get the exact replacement I needed. Amazon, of course, enabled me to obtain the hinges, and at a good price, too. They arrived quickly, and within minutes were installed. And no adjustments were required.

Be sure and order a Kreg drill jig to install these hinges, 1/2" overlay. The only problem I had was there were no instructions with the hinges on what setting to use for the distance between the edge of the large hole and the edge of the cabinet door. I figured out by using scrap wood with different settings that it is the 3mm setting on the Kreg jig that works best with these hinges.

Light weight kinda cheap. Not for heavy doors. Replaced one that broke from excessive use with this one. I’m sure it won’t hold as long as the other one but will get you by. They don’t make things like they used to.
