The Best One Yet!
Since my dog constantly has skin issues, I am forced to collar him when his skin is irritated. I have purchased numerous Kong soft collars (4 or 5) at about $30/ea. and they ALL quickly deflate. The same occurs with off brands I have tried. The Kong cushion collar which ran about $38 was totally useless. As a result, I have wasted quite a bit of money. I still had to use something so I ordered 3 different brand collars hoping one of them would hold up. One did not inflate (Scenereal). The Bencmate inflated just fine but I didn't try it yet because I tried this collar first. And I did not have a need to try another others. This is a nice subtle grey color and the fabric is not furry-ish so it doesn't get filthy, it STAYS inflated, and I can't recommend this one enough!! Thank you MIDOG for a reliable and durable product.I know this reads like one of those paid reviews but it isn't this inflatable is the best I have found on Amazon and Chewy!

Good Fit
Very pleased with purchase. Our Lab who was recently neutered kept breaking open the cone of shame. Also the the Cone, when we were able to keep it intact, limited his movement. With the inflatable collar he can carry his sticks and toys that he has to have constantly in his mouth but prevents him to getting to his surgical incision. I purchased two collars, just in case, because I read the one review of a buyer that had a Shepard needed two, But, thankfully, just one worked for our 82lb, 11 month old, Lab. Our dog is able to move around easier in his crate, eat, drink, walk around the house and sleep with much more ease that the cone allowed but still prevents him from licking his incision. I would recommend this product.

Great alternative to cone of shame
Best feature of this inflatable collar...the fabric doesn’t attract/hold dog hairs, and it appears to be removable for washing. It seems pretty comfortable on our dog, who was really freaked out by his “cone of shame”, when it hit his wire crate, the ground, or furniture. This one is soft, and quiet. It’s perfect for dogs with short legs, who tend to scrape cones in the ground when they walk.We got a medium for our 22# Corgi and it was almost too large, but with a collar in the loops inside the neck, it’s fine. I think a small wouldn’t have kept him from his neuter stitches. Our vet wasn’t really a fan of this, fearing it wouldn’t be as effective as the cone, but it’s worked fine. We DID keep the dog in the cone for 48hrs post-surgery, just to be safe, but have now switched to this quiet, comfortable alternative for the remainder of his recuperation.

Sleep saver!!!! Sanity Saver!
Trying to figure out why my good review of this product has been blocked by the "sensitivity filter".Oh my this was a sanity and sleep saver. The pup after being neutered was a wrecking ball with the plastic cone, he couldn't get comfortable or sleep with it so neither could anyone else. This arrived and I had to have my husband use the mini compressor to inflate it as there was NO way to blow this up by mouth. There were only two incidents with it (LOL) our other dog alerted to an "invasion" in the neighborhood and went flying through the dog door barking. Of course the pup tried to follow and bark too. Well....that didn't work so well, he pushed half the door out of the house and bent the frame and in doing so got stuck. Thankfully my husband was already in pursuit when this happened and he didn't remain stuck. As a side note; make sure you are awake when putting the cone on your pup. LOL we were half asleep and put it on him with the airfill stem up. This is apparently super fun and chewy, he chewed the stem off which then let it deflate and him to pull the line out through the hole in shreds. This is no fault of the collar, strictly user error. But it did keep him occupied and he left his incision alone for this time frame. LOL

Very comfy, but not foolproof
This is an updated review. I initially loved the collar, just because it afforded my dog a level of comfort that was unattainable with the plastic cone. It is a soft fabric and still allows the range of motion to eat, not get stuck on corners, and generally to not scare my dog with loud sounds. I did find that despite measuring my dog's neck, I ended up with a larger size than she needed. This may attribute to the following issues. I find my dog constantly (not while standing) makes snoring sounds even when awake, so I know the collar is resting oddly on her neck. And I also did catch her licking her hind leg incision despite wearing the collar. This may be because she has a long torso, not sure. Another thing to note is that I do have to give extra air every other day. All in all, I still much prefer this to the traditional cone. But I still do not trust it 100%. And I feel if her surgical site is uncovered and we are not home that we should rely on the plastic cone. This cone would probably be great for protecting different areas such as stomach or for spay.
