Bird's eye chilies are my favorite pepper and this sauce is perfect for the flavor! The spice is lower than a fresh chili of course but it still has enough kick to it without the gross taste of some of the hotter peppers.

I eat hot sauce on everything, but I've never tried bird's eye chili before. This stuff is HOT! Unfortunately, for me, that's kind of all it was. I didn't really perceive much flavor of any kind other than a bland "HOT" taste.The heat is a bit delayed. So, for me, I'd eat some and it would just be a little bland taste in my mouth, and then several seconds later, the heat would kick in. I was sweating by the end of my meal!Visually, this is a neon orange-red color with LOTS of little seeds, almost like tomato seeds. It's the dish in the center of my picture. I ate this on some fish sticks and spinach/broccoli blintzes. For me, a little bit goes a looooong way, so even though this bottle is kinda small, it will last me a bit.I liked this better after salting it a tad, and/or mixing it into some other sauces. That may be some kind of culinary blasphemy, but... my tastebuds thanked me.

This sauce has an excellent depth of flavor for the heat it offers. It’s flavorful with a heat that will get your attention without abusing you. Will definitely buy again.

Again this sauce just echoes what I wrote in my past review. Birds eye chili has an amazing spice to it but doesnt get out shined from its heat. I highly encourage whoever reads this to buy a few of these very unique sauces and get ready to be a african foods sauceOholic!

I’m quickly becoming an obsessive fan of the sauces and seasonings from African Dream. This birds eye chili sauce has a lot of flavor to go along with the elevated heat from the peppers. I know I’ve had sauces made with birds eye chili peppers, but I couldn’t pick out the flavor profile if you didn’t tell me. The peppers almost come off neutral, or are are just covered up by the garlic and onion, but that’s not a bad thing. You get a strong heat up front with a well balanced savory flavor at the end. Perfect for drizzling over pizza or fries, but could also be used for marinades and cooking as well.

I have several of the African Dream hot sauces and salts. So far my family and I have liked everything offered on this product line. The most recent sauces we’ve tried are:The Jalanasco is a fermented sauce made from aged jalapeno peppers. It’s milder than I expected and is tasty on avocado toast.Sweet Dream Sauce is exactly what it claims to be: Sweet. It works well with pork products. Try a dollop on top of cream cheese on toasted baguettes for an hors d'oeuvre. It’s nice to have a bottle of non-hot sauce on the table for those who avoid the heat.The last one we tried is the Bird’s Eye Chilli Sauce. Here’s a hot one that’s unique as the bottle is loaded with the seeds. The difference between the Bird’s Eye and some of the other hotter options is that the heat goes away quickly. This is a great addition to a slice of pizza.These sauces are all delicious and unique. Another thing I like about the African Dreams line of hot sauces is that they don’t sacrifice heat for flavor.
