Hunter Sprinklers 468000 Controller and Monitoring System 120/24VAC

Exact replacement part. Sprinkler control worked perfectly after swapping the old broken one. and is still working just fine. I'm handy so it was an easy fix. Sprinkler guy wanted $150 to do the replacement, so I feel I got aggreat deal overall

Used to replace the OEM transformer in a Hunter Pro-3 sprinkler controller that is 15 years old. Easy to install and provides reliable service for our irrigation.

Should have paid attention to review that advised he ordered the item it was defective...tried again ..DEFECTIVE...I have order the item 2x and DEFECTIVE both times..no 24v coming out...where is the quality control...is anyone testing this product...ordered one now from a Sprinkler Warehouse...hoping to have better Luck...first time I have ever gotten 2 defective parts from Amazon

This transformer is a direct replacement for my burnt out one. The only reason it’s not a five star review is because the two yellow power wires are not long enough to come under the housing and into the screw contacts. I snipped wire from the old transformer and used it to extend the wires. Other than that, it’s a direct replacement and got the sprinklers working again.

This transformer was installed in a Rain Bird sprinkler control panel. The existing transformer had failed, It was easy to install as long as you labeled the leads prior to installation.

first one showed up and did not put out any voltage, sent it back and second one works, so it was a hassle but i guess things happen

I am not sure what it is with these direct replacements- I got two that were DOA (dead on arrival) as in did not work at all when hooked up , and the third one I (now) have installed- and it died in less than a year ?! My OEM one lasted 20 years or so. 120V in, and 0V out. Is the mfr or supplier now different I have to wonder, I mean, its a simple transformer..... I will have to try another one (or two, as a spare) I guess..... I would give it zero stars if that was a thing.....
