Needed extra slack for mounting something. The braiding keeps it flexible but also fairly durable to not be damaged when being stapled up (of course, reduce the force of the stapler if possible). It does a good job of powering the item and is reasonably priced for its length and quality.

This 12 inch extension gave me the perfect length to connect my music flash drive to an otherwise inconveniently located USB port in my car. The braided cord appears heavy duty, and the USB ends make good secure connections. I like it.

Works great

Doesn’t work with all devices. I purchased this to play my PC from the couch with a controller, and it doesn’t work. I’ve tested other controllers and some work, but it doesn’t appear to be able to handle the Xbox elite controller that I purchased it for. I went with this brand because a lot of good reviews and supposedly USB 3.0, but I am very disappointed that the functionality is not there. Unsure as to why it only works for some devices, so I wouldn’t recommend.UPDATE:Changed from 1 star to 4 star. The cable works with other controllers, and after doing some research, the problem is with the elite controller, not the cable. So I’ve updated my review to 4 stars, as it does seem to be a quality product.

Used this to share a printer when we didn't have a proper router set up. It worked just fine.
