Looks beautiful and feels soft
I used these carpet squares to replace the old carpet in my RV. It turned out great. There is an integrated cushion, about a quarter inch thick, which gives it a cushiony feel underfoot. The fibers are soft and feel wonderful. I bought the Iron Frost and it was an excellent neutral. On a couple of the squares, the plastic backing did stick to the cushion, but I just moved on to the next square. Some of them were not precisely the same size, but that did not bother me at all, because they did not need to precisely line up. The hardest part about the entire job was pulling up the old carpet and padding and all those staples. After I did that I painted latex Kilz on the entire plywood and OSB floor so it would kill any old stains or odors that persisted in there. After it dried, then I laid the carpet squares. It went down so fast and easy. I measured where I needed to make cuts, marked it on the back of the squares. I made sure all the arrows pointed in the same direction. I also drew arrows on the painted floor to help me remember which way to point the squares. When I trimmed a square and the arrow disappeared from the back of the square I quickly drew an arrow on there, so that if I needed to I could use that piece and the arrows would all be going in the same direction. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. I will add pictures soon.

BUYER BEWARE!
Buyer beware! We read the reviews before buying these to do a quick room refresh before selling our home. We started seeing terrible results right away and that's because these tiles are different measurements! There's NO WAY to get these even or to look right. What a huge waste of money and time and now we're stuck with a room floor that looks pretty darn terrible. Not sure what we'll do now. Buyer beware on this product. I'm not sure why everyone was rating these ok. Just a terrible product to send out as much as 1.5 inches off per tile. Wow!!

Great product, great company
I used these over some backer board for an area of my home where I removed the tile. They work great, and I also looked into the company that makes them Engineered Floors. Their website has excellent information on environmental responsibility and the lack of harmful chemicals.

Nice... but too expensive
I see most people seem to be writing reviews for the 8x8 sample not the actual carpet pack so I'll focus my thoughts on the pack.Note: I have only laid these out, not actually installed them permanently so I can't speak to the quality of the adhesive (which I see some reviews mention as not being the best).Pro:- Carpet color is great!- Ability to do it yourself and NOT have to move everything out of the room at once as you would with a professional installer.Cons:- Carpet is waaay to expensive for what it is.. maybe at 20.00 less per box I could see value here. By the time I add up what these cost, I'm not too far off from having carpet installed by a professional.- Carpet is fairly thin - not awful, but enough that I'll list it as a conNeutral:- Built in carpet pad - seems OK- The comment that if you get a spill you only have to replace the one affected tile.... True...BUT... as everyone knows over time carpet wears and ages a certain way.. so if you do replace a square down the road, I highly expect that it will not match as well as you might assume.I'll try and update this review should I keep these and actually install them down... still on the fence with that.

Good product with one significant flaw
I really wanted to give this product five stars. The quality is fine and the pieces are easy to cut if you have the proper tools. The tiles stuck quite well to my old hardwood floors. Yet as other reviewers have noted, the discrepancy in the size of the tiles is an issue. Warned by these reviews, before I started to lay any carpet I opened my sixteen boxes, measured every tile, and segregated them by size. Approximately 25% were true 18 inch squares. The rest were short on one side or the other, some slightly, others by over 1/8 inch. You can still achieve an excellent result, but the job is harder than it has to be. My recommendation is to use the "brick" pattern that is pictured on the box and to make sure that in any given row you are using exactly the same size tile.

Works great if installed correctly
This worked better than I thought it could. If you make sure to get all the tiles facing the right way, and are meticulous about keeping fiber out from in between the joints. You literally cannot see the seems. I was very impressed. Not sure how long they will last but my day 1 impressions are 10/10, I highly recommend these.

Adhesive was dried out.
Luckily I was just using this to see if my cat would scratch it as an alternative to the carpet that is on my stairs. so i taped it to the wall and the cat will go to that instead of scratching the hell out of my stairs. But the plastic film came off during packaging and the adhesive is dried so if i actually was going to use it as intended I would have been mad.
