Good book
This book isn't just about a man and a woman. It is about 5 athletes and the things they get up to during an international competition in Brazil. Kristin and Alina are on the women's volleyball team while Bryce, Tim and Alex are on the track team. Alina has a boyfriend when they arrive in Brazil but he is a jerk. They all have rules about sex during the games but after Chris wins his gold medal he wants Alina to break the rules which could get her benched. So when she refuses he gets mad and gets with Alina's biggest competitor and the girl who bullied Alina in college. Alina accidentally walked in to Bryce in the men's locker room and drops her phone and after finding out the Chris cheated and losing the match that would have pretty much given them the gold she finds herself sitting on a bench crying when Bryce comes along returning her phone. But he does more than that. He let's her cry on his shoulder and gives her the support she never got from Chris. When Bryce and his teammates Tim and Alex convince Alina & Kristin to hang with them it creates not only 2 love matches but a friendship that will last forever. Ivy has some hilarious scenes as well as hot as fire ones.

Amusing
Alina and Kristian friendship is golden. The way Kristian shows up and shows up for Alina is remarkable. Bryce is a stand up guy with his own story to tell. Once again I can’t get enough of the friendship dynamics in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is not afraid to chase their dreams. I gave this book 4 stars because all of the characters were unique in their own ways.

The things you do for gold! Alina and Bryce’s story
This book was awesome Ivy!! The prank they pulled on the gymnast was priceless. I couldn’t stop laughing. I like the books setting in the Olympics. Keira is on the Us volleyball team and her boyfriend Chris on the Us swim team. While looking at her phone she accidentally walks into the men’s locker room right into this guy. His towel drops and she sees all of his glory. She drops her phone and runs out the locker room. She tells her friend Kristen what happened. They go watch Chris win the gold. Kristen has several games to play and her coach gave them strict rules to follow. She goes partying with Chris. She can’t party like everyone else does so she leaves the club. During her volleyball game someone put and envelope with pictures of Chris with Gabriela (Kiera’s nemesis). Keira can’t believe after two years he would cheat on her. She couldn’t perform to best. She met Bryce while waiting for Kristen. He gave her her phone back. That was the start of something magical. Bryce made Keira forget about Chris. Bryce cheered her on. Keira watched Bryce run for the gold. Bryce was kidnapped and forced to rig the game he was told or they would kill his sister. He does what he has too. Bryce’s friend Tim is truly out there. If Us and Brazil ties in medals a tiebreaker is done. Brazil the home team picks the event. The event was a dance off. It’s just gets worse from there. Kristen is going to do the dance and Kiera is her understudy. Kristen got hurt during practice and Kiera had to do the dance for her. Keira did inappropriate things during the dance and was captured for the world to see. After the performance she ran and hid from everybody. She was ashamed of what she did. All I have to say is wow! Ivy where did you come up with this.

Great and Not So Great
Story line was great and funny but it lacked the real romance till the end. Very different from her other books.

Heart of gold!
Heart warming story of foster child’s resilience leading to a moment that put him in the path of finding love. Heart melting. Couldn’t put it down.

This book is gold!
This was hysterical! I was a bit iffy on reading this book because sports aren't really my thing, and I've never once watched any of the Olympics. But, Ivy Smoak did not disappoint! Sure yes, there's sport talk, but there's also comedy, suspense, and romance! It's everything behind the scenes of the games. I'm 100% positive I covered my face and got extremely embarrassed for Alina at her grand finale. Then after she tried to fix her mixup, my face got red for her! How utterly embarrassing! Then to find out what really happened!! My mouth hit the ground! The embarrassment she felt was palpable! My only complaint is now I've read every one of Ivy Smoak's books! I need more! Hahaha

Silver
Good book but I'd only award it a silver. It was just too unrealistic for me to really fall in love with it.
