Excellent Comfort & Fit for Sleep and Workout
All of these headset types appear to be designed for exercise and work well for that purpose, however, I ordered these specifically for sleeping. Reviews on other Bluetooth headsets designed for such a purpose were convincingly lukewarm. I have used headsets similar to this model previously for sleep so I chose these based on my previous experiences. I prefer over-ear headsets which are difficult to find, and these are quite comfortable.HEAD BANDThis model fits very securely and the thin spring-like band connecting the two over-ear ear pieces provides some significant advantages over the hard bands on other models. The spring-like nature allows the band to expand or contract to fit any size head and neck. When expanding, the coil near the ear stretches and the ear pieces rotate while staying securely in place over the ear. The band always stays snug to the back of the head without gaps. Aside from general comfort, this is one of the features that makes sleeping with them possible as pressure on a loose, hard band does not dislodge the headphones from their position. The thinness of the cable is small enough to rest over the ear without causing uncomfortable pinching during sleep. I am not an active sleeper, but I do change sides several times during the night. The band, while noticeable, is still comfortable enough to sleep when sandwiched between my head and ear against a pillow.EAR PADSThe ear pads are a padded thin vinyl, presumably to resist sweat. I find the light padding very comfortable for sleeping and not so padded that the headphones are not secure in position.CONTROLSThe majority of the controls are on the outside face of the right ear piece. There are subtle raised symbols but it is difficult to distinguish them by feel. Regular use of these headphones provides familiarity for the 4 main buttons. The buttons are very low profile and require enough effort to press that when sleeping, it is unlikely the buttons will ever be pressed unintentionally as I change position or rest with buttons into the pillow. In distinction from other designs, the volume controls are actually on the outside rim of the right ear piece. This is ideal for sleeping as it is not possible to unintentionally depress these. The are also slightly raised and intuitively placed so that it is easy to locate them for use when resting or exercising.SOUNDThis is the area for which I deducted a star. The sound quality is not as good as similar, over-the-ear, Bluetooth models. The sound is a bit tinny and lacks bass (which is desirable for exercise mode). The sound also has a muffled quality, perhaps due to the padded ear cover. That said, the purpose of these for sleep and exercise to some extent demands comfort and secureness of fit over sound quality. The sound is loud enough to psyche up for some treadmill time or walking up steep hills and the quality is adequate at both loud and soft levels. Since listening to music critically for quality appreciation was not the primary reason for this headset choice, I can't penalize the product by more than 1/2 a star, although if you're looking for something to enjoy classical music on a 10 hour plane flight, this might not be the set for you.LIGHTSThis is another 1/2 star deduct. These do have exceptionally bright blue/red LEDs which are quite bright during pairing and charge. There is also a continual blue flashing light during use. As the wearer, it is not possible to see the flashing light, but I imagine this could annoy others using adjacent gym equipment or other passengers on a plane. I will likely put an adhesive sticker over the LED to tone this down a bit.

Good when listening to music, Bad if you like to exercise
This is a pretty nifty pair of headphones. I really like hold they a foldable and fit virtually anywhere.Pros:* Good size* Light weight* Microphone is decent* Controls (they work all the time never a problem with these)* Comfortable* Good sound* Flexible* Never had an issue pairing these with my phone or having my phone not recognize it after pairing (this happens often with other headsets)* Great when NOT exercisingCons:* Doesn't stay on ears during exercise. This is the biggest con and one of the only reasons I'm giving it three stars. My biggest reason for buying these was to use them when I work out. These work great for slower movements like weight lifting or when working on a machine. If you try to run with these, elliptical or jump rope (especially jump rope, you're in for some annoyances). They always fall off one or both ears. Now I may just have some pretty odd shaped ears (they don't look weird to me but who knows). It could also be due to the weight of these headphones. Since they weigh very little, it doesn't take much force for them to come off when you exercise. It could also be because I sweat a lot when I exercise (especially on the top of my head so sweat gets on my ears which in turn could cause theseI have to constantly readjust them and put them back on my ears. This could just be the type of cardio I do (intense, sometimes HIIT). But if you like to jump rope, you may want to pass on these. I also bought the ARCTIC P253 headphones here http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-P253-Bluetooth-Microphone-Headphones/dp/B00C7JIBN0/ before I purchased these. While those headphones do have some issues, staying on your ear during exercise is not one of them. It's probably due to the weight (not heavy but you'll notice a more sturdy weight) and the non-flexibility of those headphones which comes down to the material used in the behind ear-band. These use some flexible, plastic while the ARCTIC's use a thicker plastic.I'm still in the search for a great pair of behind-the-ear bluetooth headphones with a microphone so if someone has a suggestion, let me know.

It's really good for the price for these reasons
Sound:1) Sound quality surprised me because I didn't think they'd be good for $30 bucks and bluetooth. Turns out they're great for someone who just wants good quality music when biking, longboarding, or working out. Of course they're not Bose-quality or anything but it's highly decent. Pretty balanced in terms of bass and treble.Comfort/Practicality2) I don't see them falling at all unless someone or something pulls them off of you forcibly. It's comfortable and should adjust easily to your head unless it's really really big.Bluetooth Connectivity3) I looked at the manual and connected to my phone in under a minute after taking it out of the box. Needless to say it's easy to connect and controls are intuitive.BUTWhile longboarding the first time, the connectivity was poor...the sound went in and out so it didn't sound too good. Holding it closer fixed that. After the first ride though, the connectivity seemed to be better and I was able to put it in my pocket/backpack.Distance:Doesn't seem to great especially in between walls, it loses connection after taking 15-20 steps away from your phone. Not bad though, great if walking around a room.I haven't used the phone/mic so I don't know about that part.In terms of it's sweatproofness, it seemed awesome. Cali just had a huge storm and I wore these around and they work fine. Definitely pretty resistant to water so far.Overall, it's great for certain types of activity where you're not too far from your phone and want good sounding music.

I like to listen to podcasts on the train and music ...
I have gone through several headphones in the last few years, and I have finally found my pair! I like to listen to podcasts on the train and music in my office. I get up often to handle issues, so being corded to my computer was annoying. Winter in the city, ear bud phone functions often picked up too much background noise and I'd have to switch to hand held. Nicer over ear headphones were bulky to carry around. For me, these Cootree headphones were the perfect combination.Pros:-I personally find them very comfortable, particularly compared to earbuds. They do sit slightly funny on the ear; I could see some people finding them uncomfortable, but I really don't notice. The coiled connection provides enough pressure that they feel secure on my head without squeezing, and the earbuds themselves are cushioned.-They roll/fold up very compact. I regularly carry them in jeans front pocket or in a jacket pocket. I don't worry about breaking them the way I do when I put over-ear heap phones in a book bag and no more tangled ear bud wires.-Work great as a phone headset, and easy to answer calls.-The raised control are easy to navigate without looking for answering calls, volume, pause, play, forward and backward.Cons:-Slightly unintuitive how long you have to hold the phone/on button to get to pairing mode if you throw away the instructions (but that's really my fault). I was glad a review here noted the 8 second count for initial pairings.-The LED light that flashes occasionally to show it is connected is really bright.Really, very minor qualms.Unknown:-I have yet to use these for jogging or running, so I am not sure how well they will stay on, but the connection feels secure typically so I would imagine they work well. I mostly use them at my office.-I am not a music connoisseur, and listen mainly to talk and then to background music, so I can't really assess the aural quality of the tebels and bass, etc. It sounds just fine and clear for my uses though.

Loved it but not so much now.
New Review: 2 starsI am a little upset these headphones aren't working because they are great for the sound quality. Now the battery will not hold a charge at all less than 10 minutes. which is pretty upsetting I am going to lower my rating because I have kept these headphones in near perfect condition and were in a case everytime they were in my gym bag and I believe this battery problem is a manufacture issue. I still like the product but I will try another Bluetooth headset now.Old Review: 5 starsFor $30 these headphones are perfectly priced and I will buy this product again if it does break. I will go through the positive and negatives through this review.Pros:-Comfortable snug fit-Does Not move when you are running-Headphones do Not get sticky-Good sound quality-Works perfect with 20 ft distance regardless of interference like being in another room etc.Cons:-Bluetooth speaker quality is not great and you need to raise your voice when you are talking-There can be a buzzing noise sometimes when you are not playing music or when someone isn't talking-If you have a hat size above 7 1/2 it will be a snug fit but it does have a little give-buttons are flimsy and if you toss this headset around and don't take care of it, it will breakEnding result I will recommend this product to anyone because for this price and quality you will not find a better headset. However if the price raises above $30 there are better Bluetooth headsets out there. But quit wasting your time reading my review and just buy this headset for $30.
