La-Co - 11509 LA-CO Cool Gel Heat Barrier Spray, 1 qt

Wow, this stuff is awesome. I sprayed it on some wood while I used mapp gas to fig some brass and it worked like a champ. I had my pipes red hot and the wood was cold to the touch. Very good stuff.

Works great, came fast

Great for an automotive technician. Use it when torching seized bolts and I don't want to burn a bushings or rubber components in the near surroundings.

This gel appears to work quite well; my only issue is that it stained zinc sheet metal for which I was using it. Easy to clean up but I had to sand out the 'patina' the gel created. I can't comment on its use on other surfaces.

I have used this product for quiet a while, and love it, because I do a bit of plumbing repairs against framing and drywall, and if you spray it properly, the wood or the drywall paper does not burn.I highly recommend it for the designed purpose.

I use this to get my BEER cold at the races and it works great! I used it to freeze my tongue and I would not suggest this because it caused my tongue to be numb for a week.

Amazing batch of chemicals....works great. We brazed a u joint on a split copper coil with solder joints 3" away and didn't disturb the solder joints.
