I have used this in two different hot tubs. I have large hot tub that seats up to 6 people. Two teaspoons once a week and one after each hot tub use keeps my tub balanced. I place it in the filter intake and it does a great job.You can't beat the price, how simple to use, and how clear it keeps the hot tub. I have used this for about five years. It is the best value for the money and the 2lb. canister or bottle lasts me for about a year (using hot tub 2-3 times a week). Your results may vary, but great price, great product, and you don't have strong chlorine smell after using the hot tub!

This bromide works wonderful as a little of a shock from a hot tub when I had more water or it looks like the tub may be a little cloudy or in need of a little bit of a jumpstart. I use a floater with bromide tablets and replace them every three weeks or so. When I add water or the water looks a little cloudy or the smell is a little bit different than what it normally should be then I will use the granules.

We needed some bromine for the hot tub, but our local place is closed for renovations. I turned to Amazon to save the day, and they had exactly what I needed. The shipping was fast, and I was able to get the hot tub set up and ready to go just in time for the cold weather to kick in here in Arkansas. Also, my kids are fascinated that when you first add bromine to the hot tub's water, it will cause a green discoloration. That's how you know it's doing what it's supposed to, but my children believe I am some sort of water witch, now, and who am I to correct them?
