Knape & Vogt John Sterling - RP-0495-WT White Max Duty Shelf and Rod Bracket

I used these rod brackets to redo all the closets in my house. I like the way that hangers can go across them, even though they may need a slight bit of help on occasion. Now to get the most out of these brackets, I recommend mouthing them on wall studs. I am a proponent of doing thins right the first time, so I used these on every stud between the walls that the rod was on.You can place a shelf right on top of these brackets or not. You can see in my pictures that I did it both ways as a double stack. Some of my rods did not go all the way to the wall and ended at one of these brackets. All my brackets have been holding strong. They are very sturdy and secure. These brackets were easy to install once I located and market all the studs. I just had to level them out and drill them in. My project turned out awesome and I have received many compliments on it. It would have costed 100s of dollars if I had someone come out and do it and I am glad I was able to make this a DIY project of my own.If I can make one recommendation, it would be not to cut corners and go cheap when it comes to these mounts. Space these out about every 18 inches or so. It will be much easier than repairing a wall that it ripped out of.

Created a walk in closet with these. The extended rod holder works great and the hangers slide past them perfectly. I added shelves on top for even more storage. So glad I found these.
