Women Renaissance Blouse Victorian Steampunk Pirate Shirt Off Shoulder Short Sleeve Smocked Blouse Tops

This is a great top for casual wear, parties, or RenFaires less concerned with accuracy. My daughters and I do medieval reenactment, and for that we wear shifts with a period design and natural fibers. I've worn this top with a long skirt, or even just with denim shorts. The gathering on the sleeves and middle are all elastic, but not too tight--I'm OK in the largest size, even though it might have been questionable according to the size chart. Fortunately since I have daughters in two different smaller sizes, I knew someone would be able to use it. They both liked the way it looked so much, I ordered more (and got myself a couple more, too). It's a comfortable synthetic fabric--not sleazy feeling, and no worries about wrinkles! I am happy to say the white isn't as see-through as I was afraid it would be, so perfectly fine on its own, doesn't need anything over it.

This is a fabulous blouse, and worked perfectly for my granddaughte's outfit. She is 12, and this review is for a size small. She dressed as a girl "Edward Scissorhands" for Halloween, but as steampunk without the scissor hands for school and parades. This blouse is impressive, because it's real, not just costume-grade, and it really looks nice.

I'm giving 3 stars because of the material. Very cheaply made. I'm going to hand wash it. I wouldn't throw it in the wash. It gets 3 stars because it is pretty.It stinks really bad out of the package.It says it's 100% polyester but feels more like a plastic tarp.3 stars cause it's pretty.

I ordered this for my local Ren Faire's Pirate Weekend and it was exactly what I needed! It can be styled as romantic, pirate, fantasy, anything you want! The only flaws are that the shoulders slip up easily during dancing, fencing, anything like that(but let's be honest, do any off-the-shoulders stay off the shoulders?), and that alone, the elastic can feel a little abrasive, but that was easily fixed by a bodice hugging it a little tighter to my skin. With a thin shirt underneath or anything like a bodice, corset, or any other tight over piece, it's quite comfortable and not too hot! It held up well for my single day of non-stop dancing and came out with no damage, and I don't expect it to decline quickly. It was far cheaper than anything else like this I could find, either online or in person, and so far it seems to be standing up to all expectations!

I didn't expect it to fit as well as it did and be as brightly colored. The red is very vibrant and I love it! I'm using this as part of a Ren Faire outfit and its perfect. Love it!

I have a very large chest and bigger arms, and this top was perfect. Looked great over and off the shoulders. The material was comfortable and the elastic had plenty of stretch

It’s made from pretty cheap material, it’s slightly itchy, the fabric is somewhat thin, it’s baggy, and loose! So I recommend sizing down by how elastic it is!! Regardless, it came on time & arrived just as pictured!! It looks great when a corset is over it. So I can’t really complain!! it gets the job done!!
