These freeze-dried garlic pieces are so much better than the regular dried garlic you find in the supermarket. The flavor is quite close to fresh garlic. I originally brought in a wholesale warehouse that does not sell them anymore. And I do not see them in my local supermarket. I have them on subscription to make sure I never open the kitchen cabinet and be disappointed.

I tried this because I truly dislike peeling and chopping garlic, but I use at in a lot of my cooking - and often in great quantities. This freeze-dried garlic is a power-house of flavor! I wish that the label gave a measurement of how much equals on clove of garlic - this is such an obvious ask, why does it not address this?The dried consistency means that it needs to be sued in dishes where it has contact with liquids, or if in an oil preparation, it needs time to soften while not being browned. This works for about 80& of my garlic use - so I am very happy with it.

I love this stuff. This is a great product. Use this instead of the diced garlic in solution more commonly available. That stuff is horrible, never smells right, never tastes right.Brilliant product. It is minced and freeze dried and once it gets wet (olive oil, stock, broth, sauce, whatever) it re-hydrates and .... works.

Love the product but took a star off because the price is more than I want to pay so I will not continue purchasing. Drop the price a couple of bucks and then I would be going through a jar a week at least haha.

just about as good as fresh chopped garlic. requires minimal liquid , so really, the garlic added to almost any dish will rehydrate without added water.one of the ways i use it is in a shrimp dish. saute the shrimp in oil with some red pepper flakes. at the very end, toss in the garlic granules and squeeze of lemon juice. serve over rice. delicious!

We have enjoyed this freeze dried garlic for years, but no longer can find it in the grocery. We are so happy to now find it on Amazon.
