Tiny Music... Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop

Great price! Great band! Great album!
Honestly I thought I was getting a used copy for the price I paid, but it came sealed in the original wrap completer with promotional sticker on front! This is the European version, but I had no issue paining the disc on my lap top and ripping it to mp3 format. The album itself is the somewhat divisive "Tiny Music..." release from STP. An album that saw STP break away from their hard 'grunge' style and develop a more original sound. This was a breaking point for many fans that was hoping for the next 'Plush' but I found their more relaxed free form style to be quite unique. Think, lounge singing set to a jazzy rock sound and you'll be right about there. Songs like 'Big Bang baby, Trippin' on a hole in a paper heart' came about as close sonically to those earlier albums, while 'Lady Picture Show' and 'Adhesive' proved this band was more than a "Pearl Jam ripoff" that unfairly dogged the start of their career. This version of the album is a 25th anniversary (!) remastered deluxe edition complete with demos of almost every song from the album on a second disc. If you are a fan of 'tiny music' the remaster sounds great and the second disc is a great way to hear the evolution of this eclectic group of songs. If you are just getting Into STP welcome and enjoy the album that, in my opinion, best represents the bands overall oeuvre!

Big Bang Baby
This box set is excellent. The 180 gram vinyl sounds terrific. The selection of studio demos are raw and full of energy. The live show documented here is powerful and the band is operating at peak level. I only wish there were a little more content for the price, but this is a minor complaint.I'm hopeful that a Talk Show Super Deluxe Box Set sees an official release next.

Awesome re-release with gushes of extras...!!!
One of their overlooked albums I think. Core and Purple get all the praise but this one is fantastic as well. not as good as the other 2, but still pretty damn good. The extra tracks alone make this worth buying. It's a must own for any 90s rock fan and obviously any STP fan. God bless Scott Weiland. What a fallen soul. Great voice. Great talent.

Love STP…
Loved Stone Temple Pilots since “Core”. Packaged well, and sounds great. No complaints. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Every bit as good as the Core & Purple Super Deluxe sets
This is the 3rd super deluxe reissue from STP, with Core and Purple being the previous 2. Everything is done really well. The packaging on these is so cool, with the foil hard cover book style case that houses everything. You get the original album remastered on both Vinyl & CD, along with a disc full of demos, outtakes and such, and a disc with a complete live concert from 1997.For the price, I'm quite happy with what I got here. In my opinion, STP's 1st 3 albums are flawless. I can listen to them all the way though every single time, with no desire to skip. Serious drop off after this one though.I really wish Pearl Jam would give Ten, VS & Vitology similar treatment.Highly Recommend!

I love this record too.
I was not expecting what I recieved. The hard board case was a real treat. The 3 supplemental cds were a special treat. I have gotten much enjoyment out of this collection.

Beautiful album, mastering & pressing
Better sounding than the MOV. Get it while you can! Excellent Quality of printed material.STP at their most creative period, if I may say so myself. The cutting of this pressing is something to behold. 5/5. At $50.00 is a no brainer for what's included and the materials used.
