The first and best hits collection!
The Mono version issued in 1967 is still the most definitive Turtles collection! Features the unissued single So Goes Love also covered by The Monkees that year. Also Highly Recommended.

I bought the original and thought the colored vinyl would look nice displayed. Have not played and if I do it will be just once.

all too familiar
This cd is a great deal, all remastered at this price. If you love 60's rock/pop be it from this side of the "pond" or the other side you have to buy this cd asap. It is fantastic that one can put away the worn out vinyl and listen to these past songs with all the convenience cds offer. Money well spent here.

Excellent Sound Quality And All Original Versions!
Remastered by Flo & Eddie themselves, The Turtle's "Golden Hits" contains all original versions, not new updated ones. The big hits are all here such as "Happy Together", "Elenore", "She'd Rather Be With Me", "You Showed Me", "She's My Girl", "It Ain't Me Babe" plus eight other songs as well. The sound quality is excellent and there are some liner notes included which make this Turtles collection a bargain. If you enjoy listening to 60's artists such as The Mamas & The Papas and The Lovin' Spoonful then you'll love this cd.

Bad editing
Song selection is good.As a fan really disappointed with quality. The pics of the 5 band members inside clearly leave out Al Nichol, pictured on the cover art and instead placed with a departed member who is NOT pictured on the cover.Sloppy management.I was set to buy the second Mote Golden Hits but decline
