My six year old received this as a birthday gift. He is able to load the gun with the bullets that it came with. It came with extra bullets. The dinosaur design makes it the perfect boy gift. The directions for getting the gun to properly fire were not detailed enough. The first attempt at getting the gun to fire, it jammed.

After years of playing with pump action Nerf guns, we decided to up our game. This blaster did not disappoint. The ability to shoot semi-auto was very nice. The only downside is that the magazine only holds 10 rounds even though there appears to be plenty of space to double or triple the capacity. Given how quickly this blaster shoots, it's usually the first gun to run out of ammunition unless you have another spare magazine. Accuracy is not as good as pump action variants but it makes up for it with a higher rate of fire.

My 5 year old loves this gun! He thinks he’s the coolest kid in town now that he has a big boy dinosaur gun.

We use a lot of NERF and have been pleased with this specific gun. So far it hasnt jammed or missed shooting the ammo.My boys love it and it's got a battery powered shot!

This is a really awesome gun and checked two boxes for my son: Nerf and Dinosaurs. I won't get into anything else about it because plain and simple: it's a ticking time bomb.There is an actuator behind the lower trigger that powers the velocitor that throws the darts. The button on the actuator will start to loosen and wiggle overtime. After a few hours of play, the plastic nub on the trigger that activates the entire circuit will no longer push the button down. There is no fix unless you're good with circuits and some very minor soldering.I would not bother with this. Walmart has a similar style gun for a third of the cost that is still going strong.Too bad, probably steering away from Nerf going forward as this took all afternoon to figure out to try and appease a little one.
