Yes, this is expensive, but it works beautifully. We always buy water pik products, but this one is the best. Charge it with the USB cord and it is good for about 4 days for two people. Smaller than our others, and we can actually pack this in a suitcase unlike our old one. Not as noisy and we like that you can turn it on, and put the wand in your mouth and THEN turn the on switch on the wand itself ... so you don't have water going everywhere until you get it in your mouth. This one is very powerful - I highly recommend it for gum health and portability.

Pretty good for the money, its powerful but doesn’t completely get rid of all the food bits especially if you have tight teeth. A big plus is that its cordless and convenient for a small bathroom and it also comes with plenty of attachment tips.

After only 9 months, this thing will not turn on anymore. It is under warranty from Waterpik, but their customer service is absolutely a nightmare to deal with. Don't waste your time. They are slow to respond and each email just brings up a new line of questioning. Most companies would have sent a shipping label to send the unit in for warranty by now. I have been emailing back and forth for a month now with no resolution. They are doing everything they can to not fix or replace this machine. Some excerpts from those emails are below:1. "Thank you for reaching out to the Waterpik Product Support Team. Since we know your flosser motor is not turning on, I’d like you to try the following steps listed below.What could be happening here is the Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) in the bathroom is interfering with the power going to the unit. In order to test this, I would like for you to take the unit into another room, such as a living room or bedroom, where there is no running water. Try plugging the unit into an outlet in one of those rooms and turn on the flosser to see if the motor turns on.If it does, then purchasing a Single Outlet Surge Protector for the bathroom outlet should resolve this issue in the future. Additionally, we also recommend deep cleaning your unit with a 50/50 solution of warm water and distilled white vinegar. Afterwards, we recommend continuing to clean with a 2:1 ratio of warm water and distilled white vinegar every 1-3 months.If the step above is unsuccessful, then please let me know so we can look into additional steps. Sometimes moisture can affect this connection. We recommend ensuring this connection is always kept dry when you are connecting the charger.Ensure your charging cord is connected on a flat surface. Please note a properly charging machine’s LED indicator will glow as it charges. Improper charging may have a rapid, or inconsistent blink.Please use the following steps to try to return function to your machine.Unplug the charging cord from the outlet and remove it from the machine.Dip a cotton swab or clean cloth in white vinegar.Using the above, please gently clean both the connection on the machine itself, and the connection ports on the charger thoroughly.After cleaning these connections, please allow these connections to dry completely and re-connect the charger.The LED light should slowly fade from bright to dim while charging properly.After the charger ports on both components are cleaned and dry, please charge the machine for a full 4-6 hours.If the above steps are unsuccessful, then please let me know. Bought this with the hopes the cordless flosser would equal the most loved plug-ins. I have found it so. I am in love with this little machine and will buy another for my home in Istanbul, Turkey. The flossing ability equals my plug-in one which has been given away. I do not see any negatives with this machine! The portability is unmatched. And I have charged it with no problems. The comfort, speed, tools which accompany it all make it the one and only flosser for me. It sits proudly on my bathroom vanity allowing other tools to use the wall plugs.

The battery failed to hold a charge. Waterpik replaced it for free. Very happy overall with the product. Stays charged for many days.

Wonderful as long as it works. Had it for 26 months. Stopped working. Batteries no longer charge.
