Very Sturdy and Adjustable Step Stool by PlatinumHealth
I have just put together and tested the Adjustastep Height Adjustable Step Stool. We are very pleased with the steadiness and sturdiness of this product. The stool can be used with or without adding the handlebar. Not the height of the step stool itself and the height of the handlebars can be adjusted by three positions. The product comes with very clear and detailed instructions with good photos and written in English! To use the step stool by itself, the product includes four standard legs. Slide each leg on to the same stop hole. I found that once the pins were set in the holes that the stool was extremely steady. If you’re like I am, and unsteady when climbing on a step, simply remove two of the standard legs from the same short side of the stool and replace these with the two handle legs. Set these to the same height as the rest of the stool and then attach the curved handle section.NOTE: ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK ANY DEVICE THAT USES HOLES AND PEGS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE LOCKED IN PLACE BEFORE USING TO AVOID INJURY.Once the handle was in place we both used the product to get in the car and reach objects in the kitchen on higher shelves. We found it was very sturdy even though we are not small people. We both felt this product was the sturdiest we had ever used. We also found it very easy to detach the handle for easier storage in the car. We look forward to being safer both at home in on the go.Thanks PlatinumHealth for such a quality product. We give this 10/10 for safety, sturdiness, adaptability and ease of use.

This safety step stool is just what my husband needed!
Since my husband's stroke, higher steps are difficult for him. The step up into our shed was difficult so we ordered this safety step stool. It is adjustable in height and has the handle for him to hold onto. Getting in and out of our shed is much easier for him. It is very sturdy and we were pleased with the price.

The AdjustaStep Stool Health Saver.
I did receive the AdjustaStep Stool and it arrived in good condition. Assembly took less than five minutes and no tools required. While the height could be an inch or so lower for my shorter than average height, it still is the perfect height for not only getting into bed but accessing cabinet shelves in my bedroom. An unexpected advantage for me is the added assist in putting on my shoes and socks when sitting on the edge of my bed. It is lightweight enough for me to carry around the room and, at the same time, steady and sturdy enough for me to stand on confidently.

Very sturdy product.
I purchased the step stool with handrail to assist me with a recently purchased mattress that is too high for me. The product arrived sooner than expected, and it was very easy to assemble. The step stool is very sturdy and is wide enough for me step on it and turn around to get up on the bed. There is a very slight movement to the handrail, but it is strong enough that I don't have difficulty holding on to it. We have ceramic tile on the floor and the step stool does not slide or skid, which is great because I have some difficulty with my balance. Overall, I am very satisfied with the workmanship and safety of this product, and I would highly recomend it for people with disabilities to be able to reach a high mattress.

Quality step ladder
I purchased this device to assist in getting into a very high bed post op knee replacement surgery. It is sturdy and high quality, and the easy click together no tools needed assembly can’t be beat.. (I do wish there were clips on bottom of stool to store the unused leg pieces if you’re installing the U bar). Other models NOT this brand mentioned wobble in the U handle. This is what I have observed: if you need , due to mobility issues, to forcibly PULL yourself up using the to step up, you will notice a slight give because you are pulling full weight on the u bar to go up a step. This would be unnecessary for a non mobility challenged person - they would simply hold the handle and easily step up. Since I do use a cane now, pushing up with my cane takes the weight off the U handle and there is no handle movement stepping up. The step base is large, non slip and sturdy with no sliding.

Simple Assembly, Sturdy Stand But Packaged with Odd Stuff
Let's start with the odd stuff. First, the box had seen better days and brought immediate suspicions that the stand was going to be used/refurbished/not new/damaged. (It turned out to be new.) A number of original labels had been sliced off the box, leaving a patchwork of single layer cardboard and double tape across the top.Inside, the oddities continued. In addition to the partially assembled stand, I found: an owner's manual for a rollator, a flyer from United Healthcare noting that it has been some time since my last visit, a coffee-stained pamphlet from E*Trade with "important customer updates," and a brochure advertising several Platinum Health products. What!? Huh? Oh, and there was also a small folder explaining how to assemble the stand and handle. Now to the product itself. it seems to be well-built, with three height adjustments on the legs and several on the handle. The blue cover on the stand seems to be a bit thin, but since this is going to sit next to the bedside, I don't anticipate a problem. All in all, the step seems fine, just really wierd to have such a collection of junk package with it.Fortunately, all this stuff was lying on top of the wrapped and sealed stand and handle.

Feels flimsy
I was disappointed in the step stool. I felt it was not stable. The step was fine. I expected it to feel stronger.
