Q: What makes this item worthy of being called “hawaiian” shampoo?

Well I found this at my daughters place and used it!.... Wow, what a great product! As for the Hawaiian name, who knows maybe they are from Hawaii or just like Hawaii, or maybe the Hawaiians use salt in their shampoo? Who cares, it is good stuff. On me it thickens my thin, oily hair just great! I am just a user of this fine product.

Q: What type of glycerin is used? Soy?

Hi, Its a biodegradable vegetable oil. from renewable sources so not Soy

Q: The ingredients state “fragrance” is Limolene part of this fragrance? I’m very allergic

Just says "scent of Hawaiian seas" and "scent of blue ocean." In ingredients, only: Fragrance (Parfum)

Q: Is this sulfate free?

HI, yes this product contains sulfates while we appreciate consumer concerns regarding sulfates. SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a safe ingredient classified by the FDA as such. It is used in the majority of shampoos and soap for its foaming properties.
