This item is very solid in construction , made from metal.It has shaped my cue tip very easly, at the other end is a scuffer the two ends are concave to fit over the tip. When you unscrew the scuffer endit reveals a bed of metal pin that you use to prick the top of the tip to soften it and allow the chalk to penetrate.I am very pleased with this purchase a recommend it.

I was aware of this product for quite some time now, and I had finally had the chance to purchaseone. I was miscueing a lot, after re-shaping and scuffing the tip with this tool, my cueing improved, I was able to effectively to use draw and English very well, definitely a very handy tool to have and keep around. It is simple to use, thanks cuetec, great product.
