Toner is not the same thing as ink, and it cannot dry out. It is actually a finely powdered wax. Laser printers generate a static electricity charge on the paper that causes toner to stick to it. They then run the paper through a hot roller called the fuser that melts it permanently into the paper. As for the lifespan of the cartridge, you must refer to the advertised page yield. The TN-760 is rated for 3,000 pages, which is an approximated average you can expect. If you keep your printer and its cartridges in a cool air conditioned environment and never allow them to be exposed to high temperatures or humidity, then it should last many years. Temperatures over 100 degrees in particular can drastically reduce the life of the toner because it is made of wax.

Menos de 500 páginas

Compré el tn 60 porque se supone que rendía hasta 3mil páginas. Mis impresiones son con alta carga de tóner, así que intuía que me rendiría menos de las 3mil; sin embargo, no pensé que durara TAN poco. Menos de 500 páginas me rindió. Ahora estoy en un apuro porque se acabó sin previo aviso de falta de toner, y no puedo comprar otro porque tengo temor de que me dure lo mismo. Si alguien tiene opiniones similares, le agradecería que me las compartiera por favor para saber si compro en Amazon o en alguna otra parte.

I like this toner cartridge because it is easy to install into the copier, works amazingly well, is very economical, gives bright, sharp, clear images, will last me for a long time (Probably a year or more)-- I love it and will definitely buy it again if it is still available at the time I need it.... a long long time from now.
