Perfect for photo setups!
The quality of these backgrounds is amazing! I always purchase this brand and I am always pleased with my purchase. The print quality is bright and smooth and the material of the mats is very sturdy. They make taking photos for my business a breeze.

Love!
I had 2 sets of thick backdrops for food photos so all I had to do was take the different backgrounds & clip them onto the thicker pieces. Very nice looking & soft. They did come rolled in a tube so before using them I wiped them down to disinfect & flatten them on my dinning table with a bunch of heavy items from around my house! The backgrounds are front & back.

Decent value
Surprising how good the quality of the printing is for the price

Beautiful but won’t lay flat
The images and print quality are great! I dislike that these were shipped rolled because it was VERY hard to get them to lay flat again. I ended up rolling them in the opposite direction and putting a couple rubber bands on them for half a week to try and reverse the curve. It mostly worked but they still weren’t laying flat. You will want to have weights to put on the corners of these to hold them down, especially if you are trying to photograph light objects. It probably would be better if these were shipped flat between two pieces of protective board. The edges of the backgrounds were also slightly damaged and bent. I was confident that I would be able to work around the ruined edges in a photo shoot so I kept them, but it was a little disheartening to receive less-than-perfect items. All in all, I would recommend these pieces but beware that they are rolled and will be very hard to lay flat without some time and effort (or weights).

Very cheap material
The product wasn't as expected, and it came damaged.

Nice Variety
Once I got them flattened...These are great-they photograph beautifully and it's nice to have 12 choices handy.

Cheap, functional, some really nice looking backgrounds in the set, but you get what you pay for.
They’re cheap, and you get what you pay for. A few in the set have a fairly strong magenta cast, which may or may not be a big deal depending on your needs and workflow. They’re not especially reflective if you know how to use your lighting, and the surfaces are smooth and consistent, no ripples or flaws. I wish they didn’t have bar codes in the corner on one side, as it renders a chunk of them unusable unless you want to remove them in post. This six piece set would be helped by more variety, as a few of the wood pieces make each other redundant. I much prefer their stone and concrete textures. All in all I think this is a nice bargain if you think you’ll use even half of the backgrounds. You can easily pay $50-$100 for one high end vinyl background of this size, so if you like the textures and you think you can make them work with their flaws in print quality and how thin and fragile they are then go for it. These will work fine for food and product photography and can give you professional results if you have the patience and knowledge required, and if you can get them to flatten out a bit from the extremely rolled up state they ship in. Just place them between two flat surfaces with some weight on them for a few days and they will be much more manageable. For such a low price I might have given this set four stars despite the low quality, but a few of these backgrounds are just bad. A few are blurry, which might not be a problem or might even be helpful if you are shooting straight down and want a simulated shallow depth of field, but I think it’s a pretty strong mark against them. Three stars: they’re fine, and a couple of the backgrounds look really great, but don’t expect excellent quality at this price.

It is possible to get them to lay flat
These have definitely improved my product photography. I will probably even use these when taking photos for tutorials. If you are having trouble getting them to lay flat, this is what I did.I layed the sheets down one at a time with the curl facing down. I would then heat them up a little bit with the hairdryer until they layed mostly flat. It didn't take long. They still curled up a little so while it was still a little warm, I rolled them up the other direction and let it cool down.I then placed them under a large flat object for an hour. They now lay flat but will curl a little bit if hung up for a backdrop. The curl isn't bad and a little bit of tape fixes it.
