Much nicer than the builder grade, plastic ones.
So when I was a kid, I noticed these where always in the nicer homes....I even thought people must be rich if they had floor outlets : ) When our house was built we had a floor outlet put in and I kept thinking they put the plastic one in as a "place holder" until the real brass one came in. It soon became apparent that the plastic one was "standard" and was what they meant to put there...So you can imagine I always figured we'd put a brass one in eventually. Well the plastic one was starting to crack, so I seized the day!! 19 years since we moved in, and we put in the "real one." It looks great and I think to myself....we must be rich!!!. ;-)

it fits perfectly and looks much better than the cheap looking plastic one the builder had installed.

I find it a little expensive
compared to other products, BUT, quality is unquestionable, heavy brass plate, it looks and feels like it is going to last a looong time so I do not complain about the price that much. Price was actually ok, shipping $12? please!

Returned and Got a Different Model
It looks fine in the picture but ultimately after seeing it installed I ended up returning it and replacing with a model which has the 2 outlets covers opening separately rather than as one single large plate. It is a tripping hazard depending on its location on the floor.
