I received this sketchbook as a gift for Christmas. I’ve been using it since then and I have enjoyed it! The dot grid is quite helpful and the paper is thick and the quality is very good. Watercolor goes on fine. It doesn’t bleed through the back and doesn’t warp the pages much. Pen and watercolor both go on smoothly. Would recommend.

I love this and use it daily as my art journal and bullet journal. I love that it's watercolor paper because then I can use it with anything. I don't go anywhere without it. It's always in my purse.

This may be the only sketchbook I’ll ever need. The paper isn’t as thick as normal watercolor paper but is incredibly bleed resistant. I’ve used, water colors, inktense pencils, acrylic paint markers, and gouache paints in this book and not one of them bled. The dots are easy to conceal if you don’t want them to be present. I’ve done full guoache paintings in this sketchbook and made them into prints without any need to rip them out or agressively flatten them on my scanner. The pages do warp slightly, but I like the look of a well used sketchbook. I’m only half way through filling it. There are so so so many pages. You’re definitely getting what you paid for and more. It’s hardbound so it is resistant to bending in transit. I take this book to work with me and I work in a nasty steel mill. It has held up amazingly well for all the places I take it. Best sketchbook I have ever purchased and well worth the money. I hope they never stop making these sketch books. I DO HAVE ONE COMPLAINT. The dot grids are not consistent across the pages and a lot of pages laid flat do not line up. Not a big deal break but for anyone using this as a bullet journal, it could cause issues with page alignment. The dots aren’t exactly straight on the pages either. A good example of this would be in my optical illusion spread I’ve included in my review.

The beautiful dotted book is excellent as a journal or even drawing with colored pencils or any type pencils one decides to use.

This is my favorite journal with watercolor paper. It is beautiful and would be very appropriate for a gift!

I love the weight of the paper and the dot pattern- lending itself to writing or drawing. Will get years of pleasure from it.
