Does the job well even if the plastic fittings come out.
The plastic fittings are coming off, straight out of the box. However, this does not influence the functionality of the tool, it does the crimp very well.

Decent quality for price.
Seems decent quality. Wire stripper doesn't work that well with RG6 cable as in it cuts too deep into the outer insulation and cuts through the shielding copper.

I cannot fathom how this has positive reviews.
So I needed some RG6 ends, as I was running out. I already have a nice crimper and cutter, but I couldn't locate them immediately, so I grabbed this as I only had a small job to do really quickly. What a mistake.First off, if the cable you're using is of even mediocre quality, it won't fit inside these ends. They're not designed for good cable. Then, even if you get cable that does fit, the action of crimping it makes it so that the screw on end jams and doesn't turn anymore.Plus, the cheap little plastic crimp piece that slides inside to hold it together will break/shear, preventing you from crimping it all the way.I returned it, and just found my brand name tools instead. Don't waste your money on this.

Would have been 5* if it came with instructions
For $40 the kit had everything I needed - new ends, cutter and crimper. (I'm still not sure what the screw driver is for). I'm pretty handy but I've never dealt with crimping coaxial cable before. I ruined the end of a cable and knocked out my home Internet at the same time so this was a pretty critical task. The kit came in less than 24 hours and I went about trying to fix it. The problem is, the included cutter has many ways of cutting - different blades obviously for different purposes. It was sturdy enough to cut thick cable, but I wasn't sure (without watching many YouTube videos) what the end is supposed to look like (how much/how long should be just wire, and how much the sheathing needs to be cut back). The crimper further confuses with it's flexibility - many settings, obviously for different jobs. It took a ton of trial and error and I wasted 5 of the compression fittings before I figured it out. It did ultimately get the job done, but simple instructions would have gone a long way.

It does the job
It does the job, but like any tool like this, you need to waste couple of connectors till you learn what the best for your type of cable.things to adjust- how deep it cuts- how to position before crimpoverall this tool kit it costs at least 3-4 times less than a cable technician visit, if you want to re route the coaxial cables in your house.
