I didn't realize the garage door opener I bought was only for a 7' door until after I was almost done installing it. This extension had everything I needed to extend the opener to accommodate my 8' door. Very easy to install, just replace the front section of track and the belt. I had to move my opener back as well since I had already mounted it with the shorter track. Works just as good as the original track just gives the extra length needed for an 8' door.
