Q: Does it chip like the old one?

I bought mine Jan 4 and have chips at the bottom. I really love this product and use it 3 - 4 times a day but really hesitant to buy another one if it only lasts 4 or 5 months.

Q: Am I the only one who thinks 1.5h and 80 minutes are two different things? Does this mug bend the space/time continuum?

Yes it does, and it's perfect for me because throughout my career management has been trying to bend that very thing and have us accomplish 200 hours of work in 20 hours time. Now I can be that perfect employee with this mug, and maybe even earn a raise that's equal to the inflation rate instead of the usual less than that. Works for me!

Q: Is it okay to leave the mug on the charging coaster all day when it's already fully charged? I'm concerned about battery life and safety hazards.

The Ember Mug and Ember Mug² are both 100% safe to keep on the charger when not in use. When the battery is fully charged, the charging is shut off automatically, so no battery damage will occur. We also have something called maintenance charging, which means that if left on the coaster for months on end, the battery is periodically topped off because the battery slowly self-discharges.

Q: Can the warmer be used with a regular mug also?

No, it cannot. The stand is not a warmer. The stand is a battery charger with two posts to charge the mug.
