I purchased these clamps for use while building balsa model airplanes, and for that purpose they are PERFECT. It's easy to regulate the amount of pressure applied with the clamps, and they're light enough that several can be used on a balsa structure without fear of the weight damaging the part.

The plastic on these is a little lightweight, they feel a little cheap but they seem to hold well. The brand I used to buy doesn't seem to exist anymore so we'll see how these work out. If they turn out to be crappy I will update my review accordingly.

They work better than the Irwin version I have.

These are functional and offered at very good price. The siding action to expand or close the clamp is not real smooth. I tried oiling the bar, but it didn’t help too much. I even sanded the paint off the slide hoping the action would be better. It didn’t seem to help much either. They are functional and if that doesn’t bother you…then it’s a very good price. I priced Dewalt clamps at Home Depot and the similar size is $13.00 apiece….so this is a steal. I would buy them again….they get the job done.

Not a strong clamp by any means.

4" bar clamps would not hold pressure. I bought 2 sets of 8 each, total 16 bar clamps. Returned all 16 bar clamps. Refunded for all of them. Then, they took back half of the refund because they say I did not return the second set. I want my money back. It's funny when you look at their 1 Star reviews. It seems as though NOTHING is their fault.

My wife loves the small clamps and she doesn’t have a problem using them

They're small enough to fit into tight places and they hold very well! One thing I would recommend is gluing the little pads onto the base, they do tend to come off easily. Up to you!
