ActiveGear truly makes high quality stuff and this yoga mat is no different. Even down to the packaging... it is top of the line! Once I rolled it out I realized it's the perfect intermediate size for the living room or to bring along camping. Not too heavy or bulky when rolled up and easy to fit in the back seat or a trunk or even a tent. The texture is grippy by not aggressive. It can confidently be used with socks, shoes, or barefoot. The surface seems durable enough for years of moderate use and travel. The level of padding is perfect for stretching, yoga, or using for basic strength training. It might be slightly too small for two people to use at the same time unless you're back to back. It would be worth it to buy a second in that case ;). The storage bag it comes in makes for easy and neat storage. As with other ActiveGear products, they really thought out the peripheral details. Roll up the mat and it fits *easily* into the bag. No shoving or fighting the bag :). The material of the bag is durable and shows no risk of tearing or fraying. The included high quality HUGE towel was a nice touch. And even the towel fits back into the bag without struggle. The velcro straps aren't necessary but make for an extra touch of quality from ActiveGear.

Perfect for at home exercise . Enough space but not too big

Wanted a big pad to move around on comfortably and this is exactly what I was looking for ! Love it and it’s sturdy and easy to clean !

I like how its lightweight and can be rolled up and stored in it own bag. Mat keeps its form and large enough for big tall people!

I like that it is not too thick for foot turns. It is thin enough to roll up with out taking a lot a space ( nice cover sent) it is plenty thick for a senior who has to practise sitting and standing up hands free without any pain to hard drops. In fact I switched from usual narrow mat because of needing to be able not end on the floor. Like it a lot!!!

Wanted to get this mat for the purpose of protecting my living room floor and engage in more barefoot exercising. Admittedly I don’t know why I was expecting this to be “average quality”… I was afraid that this mat would’ve been too thin or not true to size. However, I was not disappointed. Most importantly, my concern was that this mat wouldn’t be heavy enough to lay flat and that I would need to put a weight on each corner to straighten it. Proved me wrong! It’s heavy enough to lay flat but light enough to easily roll back up and store or move. Came in a storage case and the microfiber towel is large and high quality. No weird smell. Worth every penny.
