Q: For 42008mi flotool 58 quart oil drain pan lost the vent plug, are repacements avalible?

I do not know. However I Googled Hopkins and found the site http://www.hopkinsmfg.com. There I found the number 800-835-0129 listed for technical support and the number 800-279-3212 listed for special orders. Check these out and let us know what you find so we will all know the answer to your question. I too have wondered if I lost one of the vent plug or drain plug if I would be able to get a replacement. This is certainly the most convenient drain pan I have ever owned -- also the most expensive. :)

Q: Need a extra vent cap

No, you have to drain oil when is room temperature(never hot). When container starts to overflow i put cap back on (use plastic gloves, always). Planning on cutting middle whole larger to avoid overflow. I disposed oil without ever removing vent cap, it still worked. Love oil pan, no regrets!

I drain my Semi oil which is 11 gallon of old oil & still have plenty of room for more.
