I was really sceptical about buying this having heard stories of problems with cheap carbs. But I was desperate and decided to take the plunge.I needn’t have worried. Just bolted on - 5 minutes of tweaking the bypass and idle screws to get it running smooth and bingo we were off. My VW Type 2 was running like a bag of spanners on the old/original carb - now purring like a kitten and pulling strong (well for a VW aircooled!!!). Couldn’t be happier.For the money you cant go wrong. I may invest in one as a spare to carry in the van.

Omg bought this carb as my original solex was playing up thought this would be a temporary fix whilst I got mine rebuilt but NO keeping this on runs like a dream very is to install and set up and been using it on my split screen for the past 6 months and never missed a beat
