Sometimes digital products can be a nightmare to set up and use especially when they have multi-function buttons but this is very easy and appears to be accurate as well. It is good to hold and the screen gives a clear reading. A useful thermometer for all the family.

Like all such digital thermometers it'll only work if the ambient temperature is at least 15 degrees. Apart from that it works fine. Thanks.

I use Salter brand equipment at work all the time, it has to be really well made to even 'survive'. This is made just the same quality. Top quality materials, innovative, easy to use design. Quick, accurate, large illuminated display, very well made, easy shape to use and easy to keep clean. Much, much better value than some 'bargains' I had considered buying. Very impressed.

I bought it to use for my toddler grandson and had high expectations from a branded thermometer. It turned out it is completely useless and gives very random readings, not even close to what my old school mercury thermometer shows. I will be reluctant to buy another of these IR thermometers again and will stick to the branded digital ones.
