Chilly Dog American Flag Dog Sweater (Small)

I was really shocked when the sweater arrived as it is very thick and looks like it was hand knitted. Most of the dog sweaters out there are cheap, thin acrylic which pills immediately. This is absolutely beautiful, thick and looks like it will keep my dog warm in cold weather. This is a real outdoor sweater, not the thin kind that only keeps your dog warm indoors when the nights get chilly. Highly recommend!!!!!

This is probably my 4th Chilly Dog sweater. I love their fun designs. They are perfect for my Frenchie in Wisconsin's cold weather. It's easy to put on, not itchy and well made. The size guide is perfect to help you find the right size. I highly recommend!

I love this sweater! I love that it is a natural fiber (wool) ,dyed with organic plant dyes and is fair trade certified. It is warm and covers my dog well. I have a 9 1/2 pound mini schnauzer and the size "small" fits him perfectly. He measures 12 inches from the base of his neck to the base of his tail and his girth at his chest is just over 18 inches. The sweater covers him just down to the base of his tail and I roll the neck down to make a turtle neck and that makes the length perfect for him.The sweater is very well made and has a pronounced cut out on the underside so it doesn't get wet at all when he's out to "do his business". This Maine winter has been cold and he has worn the sweater in the house on some days in between trips outside and doesn't appear to be too hot in it. I keep my house at between 68 and 70 degrees during the day. I do take it off him at night for sleeping.The cut outs for the front legs are perfect, also. They are longish and narrow so that they let him move freely but still keep him covered. As the weather warms up(finally!), this sweater will be too warm. I wish it was available in cotton or a lighter weight blend for spring and early fall. My dog has alternated between his heavier coats and another sweater and I haven't needed to wash this one yet, but will put it in a mesh bag in the machine on cold to wash and then will air dry it.PS:I did find an inconsistency in the sizing. I originally ordered a "small" that was way too big and had to be returned. My daughter then purchased an extra small for him that was way too small and it was also returned. We tried the "small" again and it was perfect! It may have been just a one off sort of thing and the first "small" may have been labeled wrong. It was worth the effort to get it just right.

I like this dog sweater well enough. Fits well. Not super snug fitting but doesn't hang either. It's not very thick which surprised me. The model photo makes it look thicker. I would say it's medium thickness. I haven't washed it yet so not sure if the texture will change but it's a bit wooley scratchy like. But not too much. Goes on over the head. The turtle neck fits nicely and not too snug. The length as u can see from my photos doesn't quite reach his back end. But that's fine. It's not too short. Won't be for super cold days but it was 45 this morning so was perfect. It bugs me that the stars on the flag aren't shaped like stars cause they are fairly large. They almost look like fluer de lis. Kind of strange. . But from a distance not that noticeable. It's not cheaply made and doesn't look like it will pull easily. For the amount I paid (($21) I'm happy with it. My dog is half cocker spaniel and half king charles and about 24 pounds.

I love this sweater and it looks so cute! My Yorkie puppy wasn’t quite three pounds and finding a sweater that fit him was a challenge. Since it is still chilly, it’s been hard getting him outside. This sweater is a nice thickness. Feels like a real sweater. He likes wearing it. Looks high quality, but also hand made. He looks adorable in this sweater. I purchased the XXS size for a 3 lb. Puppy. I will be getting the next size up for when he outgrows this one because I love it so much. Plus, I love America. 🇺🇸

We love this American Flag sweater. It is well made, My dog is a 80 lb -tall and slim guy - and the XX-Large is perfect. He is so handsome in this sweater. People compliment it often.

Ran Small. I would’ve ordered 2” longer. Otherwise very cute and lots of compliments. A fall sweater , not for snow or rain. Because it was small it was difficult to get off and on so order a size up
