Q: How many fish can you put in a 55 gallon tank

Fish quantity depends on a few factors- the volume of water, the size of the filter system, and the length of fish. For a tank of this size with adequate filtration, we recommend 3 to 5 fish.

Q: Can i buy just one blue koy?

Thank you for your question! At this time, the koi come in quantities of 10.

Great question! This pack can be discarded. It is frozen before shipment and included in the package to maintain the temperature of the water until it arrives at the final destination. We hope you love your new pond fish!

Q: Can these fish survive in outdoor natural pond? Outside temperature requirements?

Yes- these fish will survive in an outdoor natural pond. There aren't any temperature requirements, however, we would not recommend stocking the fish until the water temperature is above 60 degrees to limit stress. They will naturally hibernate when water temperatures are low, and aeration can help as well.
