I purchased this for my Merlin CD3 paddle and absolutely loved it! This guard is very useful in protecting my blade from chipping. I recommend anyone and everyone who owns a carbon paddle to invest in tip protecting technology since I know it is very easy to accidentally chip your precious blade on the floor at an away race. One thing to note is that although it might seem tight and too small when you first put it on, it fits, dont worry.

This paddle protector is awesome! It's thick enough that it would protect the blade tip from any bumps and if you've got those fancy carbon fiber paddles, you will definitely want to protect that beautiful paddle. I always have this protector on unless I'm in the boat. This protector is also slim enough to fit into your paddle case which is a great bonus!I'd recommend this tip protector over the rest!
