Would highly recommend!!
Worked perfectly, these pieces are extremely hard to find and I had a small leak in my shower for months. Completely fixed now and was easy to install in minutes!!

Plumbers lie – shop around.
When getting bids for remodeling the master bathroom, two plumbers told me this valve was no longer available. Replacing with another type valve would necessitate cutting a hole in the wall which I did not want to do. I was not planning to replace the ceramic shower tile so I really needed to just replace the existing valve. Both plumbers told me they would double check and both reported back that the valve was not available. I was surprised as my house is not that old – built in 1992. Thank goodness I decided to get an additional bid. Plumber number three was an honest guy who told me the valve was indeed available and I could buy it on Amazon. He gave me the model number so I could purchase it myself. Obviously, the first two plumbers were looking to increase the scope of the job and the price--they were looking out for their pocketbooks rather than for my best interest. So glad I shopped around and so glad that Amazon had what I needed. The valve fit perfectly, it works great-- no hole in the wall and no costly new tile job.

Don't forget the SILICON.
This got my shower back up and leak free.A few tips. You need to get SILICONE lubricant aka grease aka sealant. You might actually try removing old unit, put on fresh lube and reinstall and see if that gets rid of a leak (if leaking is your main issue). If you buy new, then you will also need lube. It seals and it makes pushing piece back in easier/possible. Remember, it's supposed to be a tight fit. Lube up the O-ring and almost everything else that goes inside the pipe. Try to turn off the water so you can put some lube inside the pipe before you push this cartridge in.My picture shows my old unit (left) and new unit (right) and the packaging the new one came in. The old one, one metal O-ring and the thicker white ring were stuck up inside the chrome piece, thus why you don't see them.Another tip, you might want to take a picture after you remove the "outer" parts and right before you pull out the actual cartridge. Of course you only be reading this review after you already pulled it out. #catch22 Taking a picture just helps you remember how far back it goes (and how much is still exposed) so you don't try to overpush it in.The only tools I needed wasPhillips screwdriver2 adjustable wrenched and/or channel lock pliers. And the SILICON lubePS Do NOT use petroleum based lube. It will deteriorate the rubber seal.I used DANCO 0.5 oz. Silicone Faucet Grease
