As a teenage girl who loves puzzles, I absolutely love Calico! The game pieces are bright and colorful, the cat pictures are adorable, and the idea is very unique. If you like challenging your brain, I would definitely recommend-but if you don't, there are so many other ways to play. The age I would recommend is probably around 10 and up, but if it is to hard, you can simplify it by playing a different variant. Additionally, Calico is not only a multiplayer game, but can be played solo as well. It is not very competitive either because everyone is focused on their own board. The quality of the tiles and board is amazing, and the artwork is too. The instructions are easy to understand, and include a place to mark your achievements as well. The value you get from this game is definitely worth the price tag. The strategy that goes into playing is slightly difficult, but once again, you can simplify it. All together, Calico is a brilliant, well-designed, puzzle game that is fun and (though difficult) is worth your time.

This is one of my favorite games. I play solo mostly. The solo game works with scenarios. Normally I would prefer an automa that gives you a score to beat but the scenarios are a nice option and they do give you a score to beat and other objectives also. They are also challenging.The cats are adorable, the colors and patterns are enjoyable. It's such a fun cozy game. Quality is good.

So much fun! A bit complicated to learn at first, but once you get it it's a blast. There's a lot of strategy needed. The pieces are sturdy and feel good in your hands. We've played it several times since I bought it and we have fun every time.

Highly recommend this deceptively cute but challenging tile-laying game. It’s a fun, but challenging game, while still being fairly relaxing! There is a lot to juggle with choices and patterns and points, while still having accessibility options for people more unfamiliar with games! I even played a few games by myself, which I never do, but they found a way to make that engaging too!

I love this game so much. I am a cat lady but you don’t need to be one to play this game. It can be very versatile every time you play because you can switch up the rule tiles each time. I never get tired of it and I taught my mom how to play pretty easily. And my nephew plays as well. Very family friendly.

This game is a lot of fun for every member of my family. It’s complex but not hard to learn. My kids love the cute cats.

Fantastic game! Played with friends and instantly bought it. However, some of the cardboard/sturdy paper pieces were damaged. Looked like the images had been ripped off by tape or something.

I've played solo, with wife and with friends. Game is never the same and simple to learn. This game combines challenging play with simple mechanics. The board and pieces are of great quality and the price is perfect. Thanks for a great game (even if you're not a cat lover;)
