I personally like the lighter weight to pair with delicate desserts like parfait and to balance the heaviness of a rich pudding, but if you tend to prefer kitchenware that you can be rough with, this may not be the best option for you. Though I have not had an Iwaki pudding cup break or crack, I have been very gentle with them and would advise others to do the same.When pouring hot caramel into these cups to make a creme caramel or flan-like dessert for instance, I would recommend placing the cups in a hot or just-boiled water bath beforehand so that the cups are close in temperature to the caramel.To clarify the volume of the cups, the 100ml cups hold ~150ml when filled to the brim. This is a separate product from the 150ml Iwaki pudding cup, which holds ~200ml when filled to the brim.

Was considering buying this, but after doing some searches online I found that if it is $25.30 for just one Iwaki Pudding Cup it is way overpriced. This is shown as a 100ml Iwaki Pudding Cup, but I believe that they meant 150 ml as I find only 150ml and 240ml online. A single 150ml Iwaki Pudding Cup should cost only 330 yen, or $3.30. If That is a difference of $22.00. There is no indication that you are getting more than one pudding cup for $25.30. If you are getting more than one cup for $25.30 they should indicate that.
